The Idaho County Chapter of the Constitution Party holds its monthly “Dutch dinner” meeting on Friday, 4 January 2012, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Oscar's Restaurant in Grangeville, Idaho.
Friday’s program includes a brief phone conversation with Joshua Fauver, recently appointed National Chairman of the “Young Constitutionalists.” This new organization encourages conservative American youth toward political action. Mr. Fauver, a freshman attending the University of Louisiana—Monroe, was formerly an intern with the Ron Paul campaign. He is currently helping develop the Constitution Party of Louisiana. This promises to be an interesting phone call. Conservative Idaho County youth are encouraged to join our dinner conversation.
Chapter business matters will also be discussed, as will statements by Idaho Labor Department Secretary Bob Fick. Mr. Fick reportedly claimed the long term trend in Idaho will be one of declining wages over the next generation. Idaho median wage already ranks dead last in the nation. More and more Idahoans work two jobs. Mr. Fick believes Idahoans must accept this scenario for the next 20 years! The Constitution Party of Idaho adamantly rejects this future. We call for a new direction.
The Constitution Party is a grassroots citizen-led national political party, not beholden to corporate interests and not owned by political action committee (PAC) money. We believe the ordinary citizen is the extraordinary foundation of America. Our platform is simple. We call it the Constitution of the United States.
