Twelve students at Prairie High School earned perfect 4.0 grade point averages for the second quarter of the 2007-08 school year. They were Sarah Arnzen, Jessica Gehring, Kim Schaeffer, Tiffany Schaeffer and Doris Whitley, all seniors; Leora Laurino, junior; Kyler Shumway, David Sigler and Jonathan Vanhouten, sophomores and Thia Vanhouten, D.J. Walker and Silas Whitley, freshmen. Seniors earning high honors (3.5 or better grade point average) were Chantel Boniecki, Lauren Duman, Alli Holthaus, Brooke Holthaus, Nick Johnson, Calista Karel, Kayla Lorentz, Abbi Lustig, Alex Richardson and Christa Wilson.
