To the Library and Beyond
As we continue our celebration of Black History Month and National Library Lovers' Month, we also enjoy Freelance Writers Appreciation Week, 11-17 February.  Do you share with your friends your analyses of your favorite characters?  Have you studied the biography of a famously romantic personality?  Why not write your own romance stories?
Wednesday 14 February is not only Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent, it is also Valentine’s Day and the volunteers at Prairie Community Library want to thank our patrons for your many thoughtful donations; we assure you that your donations are greatly appreciated.
This month the Directors of the Board of Prairie Community Library, Inc. are collaborating on plans to move the Library back into its long-time location.
More statistics from our favorite Library: In 2018 Prairie Community Library loaned 2,198 items.  In 2021 Story Hour attracted 719 attendees.
The volunteers who manage Prairie Community Library endeavor to maintain a basic and transparent operation.  We value commitment to impact, to communicate our visions of growth and how we can best achieve them.  We invite our patrons to recommend improvements to the organization’s direction, priorities, and customer service when we reopen.
Please continue returning any items you may have checked out from the Library to the drop box at the back, north end, of the Community Hall building and encouraging your friends to do the same.  Thank you!
