The Prairie Pirates still have a chance to advance to the state tournament as they will play District 3 champion North Star Charter in a best 2 out of 3 series this weekend at Meridian.
The games will be played at the Meridian High School field located at 1900 W. Pine Ave., Meridian.
The first game will be at 5 p.m. MDT on Friday, May 8. Game 2 will be play at 10 a.m. MDT on Saturday, May 9. If a third game is needed, it would start 30 minutes after the conclusion of game 2.
North Star Charter finished the season with a record of 11-9, 5-0 in conference play. They also won their District Tournament which allows them to host this series despite Prairie being higher ranked in MaxPreps.
Prairie takes a record of 14-8 into the series.
State will be at Capital High School in Boise May 14-16 unless there are only northern teams in the tournament.
Other Super Regionals have Potlatch hosting Garden Valley, Kendrick hosting Troy and C.V. hosting Genesee.
