Oktoberfest raises over $47,000
St. Mary's Health Foundation is grateful for the strong turnout at this
year's Oktoberfest, where community generosity propelled the Foundation
significantly closer to its goal of helping fund a new CT scanner for
St. Mary's Health. This year's event netted more than$47,000 dedicated specifically to the CT scanner upgrade, bringing the Foundation to more than 70% of its $125,000 fundraising commitment toward the project. "While we're celebrating a fundraising milestone, we're also celebrating something even greater: the power of community," said Brynn Knudson, Director of St. Mary's Health Foundation. "Every ticket purchased, auction bid placed, sponsorship secured, volunteer hour given, and donation made reflects a shared commitment to strengthening local healthcare." The CT scanner upgrade is part of a larger $500,000 investment and is expected to significantly enhance diagnostic capabilities for patients throughout the region. In rural communities, access to advanced imaging technology is essential. Faster, more accurate diagnostics can improve emergency response, reduce the need for patient transfers, and help patients receive high-quality care close to home. "Advanced diagnostic imaging is essential when minutes matter," Knudson said. "This new CT scanner will help our clinical team deliver timely, accurate care right here in our region. We are incredibly grateful for every supporter who is helping make this important upgrade a reality." The Foundation continues to work toward completing its fundraising goal and remains committed to strengthening local healthcare for years to come.
