Run 2004 at 4:00 pm this Friday
Everyone’s invited to participate in Friday’s Son Games 2004 closing activities. It all begins at 4:00 pm with a 3 mile (1 mile for younger kids) Fun Run. There is no cost and tee shirts will be given to the first 70 who finish. You can register anytime in the mornings at the Idaho County Fair Grounds, the site of the SonGames 2004 VBS. You may also register up to 5 minutes before the Fun Run. The start/finish line will be the crosswalk between the Cottonwood City Park and the Idaho County Fair Grounds. Prizes will be awarded in three different age categories. Following the Fun Run, at 5:00, there will be a free Bar-B-Que in the park. Come and enjoy a hamburger and or hot dog and stay for the awards ceremony when we will present all of the prizes and awards. Coyote Classic fun run set to go The St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics Second Annual ‘Coyote Classic’ Fun Run and Walk is  scheduled
for Saturday, July 17. Dr. Teel Bruner, Coordinator, is welcoming
families, teens, grandparents, dads, moms, runners, walkers and everyone
else interested in having fun while getting fit.
The 2.5 mile walk/run or 5 mile run will begin in the hospital parking lot at 8:00 a.m. The course is walker and runner-friendly and will end downtown. There will be water available along the route with prizes awarded at the end. You can preregister by calling SMHC, 962.3251 or plan on registering the day of the event between 7:00 and 7:45. The cost is $10 for preregistration which includes a Coyote Classic T-shirt or $12 the day of the event or $5.00 if you do not want a T-shirt. Come join the fun and get fit in the process! |
