Blood Drive set for Oct. 21
It is time again for our October Blood Drive.  It will be at the Community Hall Oct 21 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM.  We are looking forward to the support of everyone in the community who feels that they can donate.
Last July  there was a shortage of blood all over the state. Our community  responded by going 10% over our goal.  As a result our unit was recognized with an award.   We are hoping, no, we are expecting you to do it again.  There were 17 new donors last time.  On looking at the names of the new donors we see that several of them are at college and will not be able to come.  SO, please, help us to reach our goal with more new, as well as old donors stepping forth. We are especially looking for more donors from the school, both students and teachers.
Simply call Sally Terhaar at 962-3192 or Irma Tacke at 962-3964 and make an appointment. You will be glad you did and so will the people who receive it.   Remember, each unit benefits three different patients.   And as we all know, we never know who may be in need of it.
