Did you know that each year the President of the United States proclaims January as National Volunteer Blood Donor Month? All of you are invited to celebrate it by coming to our next drive. It is this Thursday, January 20 at the Community Hall from 12 to 6PM. If you already have an appointment, do try and keep it. If you still want to make one, Call Sally at 962-3192, or Irma at 962-3964 and make an appointment. The need is constant. The Red Cross supplies blood for our armed forces as well as accident victims, premature babies, cancer victims and other patients in our local hospitals. What a grand way to start the New Year. So eat a good lunch, remember your appointment time or make one and come to see us. You will have fun and be doing a very worthwhile action. Thanks from the Red Cross to all who have been donating on a regular basis. Together, we can save a life. IMPORTANT Be sure to bring you ID!!! |
