Teens to host soup/supper
There are many activities to choose from during this month for the are youth. March 11th, following the Soup / Supper, there will be Western Swing classes for the teens at Middle School Release Time Building. (Doesn’t that sound FUN? Bring your friends to this one!)
Continuing with March 12th, at Assumption Parish, the teens will be selling beautiful imported handmade Italian & Mexican rosaries, Catholic Metals, and other Christian jewelry. This would be the perfect time to purchase a special gift for an upcoming Confirmation or First Communion child. All proceeds are to help defray cost of Youth Ministry needs.
On March 18th teens will be helping St. Ann’s Guild to host a Lenten Soup Supper at the Stations of the Cross that week. They will be selling their beautiful original hand painted bowls. Proceeds of the sale will help provide transportation for teens to ICYC (Idaho Catholic Youth Conference) in Pocatello the first weekend in April.
There is alternate activity planned for this month’s Spirit Sunday, March 20th. All should meet if interested, at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Max Nuxoll, for viewing “The Passion”. There will be snacks provided for this evening. All students need to bring a signed Parent Permission slip to this activity.
Well that is it! Have a Blessed Holy Week & Easter Season all.
