Summit Academy to present science fair
Summit Academy students and staff would like to invite the public to their 2nd annual Science Fair Thursday, April 7.
The doors will open at 7 p.m.
The “cream of the crop” projects will be displayed in the gym. The rest of the students’ projects will be on display in their classrooms. Each student will accompany their project so if you have any questions or something you would like to see, they will be there to assist you.
Lat year’s fair was our first. Projects included a homemade tornado, a suspended bridge holding many times its own weight, and a student created waterwheel which produced electricity. One student made a natural water filter so the dirty water that went in came out clean and drinkable.
There are many projects in progress this year that look very interesting. We hope you can join us for this event!
