Nida wins two events at Kamiah Invitational
Nicole Nida was a double winner at the Kamiah Invitational Track Meet Saturday, April 30.
Nida won the 100 in 13.1 and the 200 in 28.5 while taking second in the 400 at 1:02.9.
Tabitha Sonnen meanwhile won the 100 hurdles in 16.8 and was second in the 300 hurdles in 49.7. Both are season best times and the 300 time breaks the school record.
The only other local winner was Summit Academy’s Dylan Greene, who won the long jump at 19’8”.
Other top 4 finishers for the Prairie girls team were: 
Kayla Uhlenkott, 4th in the 200 in 29.8.
Gina Holthaus, 4th in the long jump at 13’11¾”.
Vanessa Sonnen, 3rd in the triple jump at 31’7½”
The 4x100 relay team of Uhlenkott, Holthaus, Cassie Schaeffer and Vanessa Sonnen took second in 53.4. 
The 4x200 team of Uhlenkott, Holthaus, Tabitha Sonnen and Vanessa Sonnen took second in 1:52.7.
The medley team of Holthaus, Schaeffer, Uhlenkott and Vanessa Sonnen took second in 2:01.1.
As a team Prairie took third behind McCall and Grangeville.
For the Prairie boys J.D. Riener set a personal best in the discus as he took second place with a heave of 135’10”.
For Summit Greene also place third in both the 200 and 400 at 24.3 and 54.4 respectively and third in the high jump at 5’4”.
No other Prairie or Summit boys placed in the top 4 in their events.
The Summit boys placed 9th and Prairie 10th in the team standings.

Greene places in 4 events at Orofino
Dylan Greene of Summit Academy placed in the top 3 in 4 different events at a 10-school track meet at Orofino Thursday, April 28.
He placed second in the 200 meter dash in 24.6, second in the 400 in 55.4, second in the long jump at 19’0” and third in the high jump at 5’4”.
Due to his efforts Summit placed 7th out of the 10 teams with 30 points.
