35 to graduate Friday
There will be 35 seniors graduating from Prairie High School this Friday, May 27 at the Prairie High School gym.
The proceedings start at 7 p.m. which is 30 minutes earlier than previous years.
Commencement speaker this year will be Patti Hinkelman, a teacher at Prairie High School.
Leading the class of 2005 will be co-valedictorians Vanessa Sonnen and Kelby Wilson and Salutatorian Amanda Jackson.
Also earning high honors with a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above are Kevin Funke, Cody Gehring, Allison Jones, Briget Long and Heather Schierman.
Earning honors for having a 3.0 and above grade point average are Jessma Barrani, Mica Ezell, James Hood, Brio Laurino, Dain Rad, Christopher Rehder, Justin Smith and Nick Uhlenkott.
Rounding out the class are Ali Anderson, Chad Arnzen, Scott Bruegeman, Lowell Enneking, Christopher Frei, Kyle Groom, Samantha Lustig, Eric Mader, Lauren Merrill Jenna Nida, Ryan Osterbuhr, Shane Poxleitner, Stacey Schnider, Ashley Schumacher, Lacey Seubert, Wayne Schnider, Adam Uhlenkott and Randall Wright.
The class motto is “You live your life only once, but if lived right, once is enough.”
The class song is “I Go Back” by Kenny Chesney.
The class flower is the rose and the class colors are black and pink.
