Greencreek 4th of July celebration is Monday
The annual Greencreek 4th of July Celebration gets underway at 6 a.m. Monday, July 4 with the Flag Raising.There's a new ride for the kids at the Greencreek celebration this year.
From 7 to 11 a.m. the breakfast will be served. This year the prices are $7 for 12 and older, $3 for 6-11 year olds and under 6 are free.
Grand Marshal this year is Tom Terhaar.
At noon the Street Sports start and at 1 p.m. will be an auction followed by the prize drawing.
There will be bingo in the hall all day long.
Starting at noon the Altar Society will be selling hamburgers and homemade pies. Other concessions and a beergarden will also take place.
A new addition this year is a new kiddies ride built by the members of the St. Anthony’s Society. It is a 9 piece train pulled by a lawn tractor.
