Coyote Classic ready to roll
The 3rd Annual Coyote Classic will be held this Saturday, July 16th.  The fun run and walk is sponsored as a community service by St. Mary’s Hospital and Clinics.
Dr. Teel Bruner is the overall coordinator of the morning’s event.
“We like to support activities that promote wellness and physical fitness,” said Jeanette Gorman, Community Relations Coordinator.  “The event is designed for people who are serious about staying in shape, for those who need of a jump start and for families who want to exercise together.  It’s a good way for kids to understand the importance of exercise in maintaining health and, most importantly, the event is designed for fun.’
The start time for the 2.5 mile walk or run and the 5 mile run is 8:00 a.m. with registration beginning at 7:00 a.m.  The course begins at the hospital parking lot and ends downtown with views of the prairie and railroad trestles along the course.  The pre registration fee of $10 includes a T-shirt.  Registration the day of the race is $12 and $5.00 with no shirt.
Entry forms are available at various businesses and the SMHC reception desks.
