Night's Relay is Friday
Don’t forget this next Friday evening is the event of the summer! St. Mary’s Hospital is sponsoring their second annual Midsummer Relay on August 5. Registration begins at 8:30 p.m. and the relay begins at 9:00 p.m. No advance registration is necessary. The $10 fee includes a t-shirt and $5.00 with no t-shirt. 
“The relay is designed to remind people about the importance of remaining physically fit, but its main focus is to have fun! We all know you can do both at the same time. Fitness and fun are a good mix,” said Dr. Teel Bruner, Relay Coordinator. The race has two categories: a six mile and a 12 mile relay. Each member of the six mile relay team will walk or run two miles and each member of the 12 mile relay will complete three miles. Relay teams consist of four members. Relay start and registration will be in the hospital parking lot, 701 Lewiston St. The course will wind through the well lit city streets of Cottonwood. For further information call SMHC, 962.3251. |
