students participate in KC Hoop Shoot

Summit Academy students ages 1-14 took part in the annual Knights of Columbus
hoop shoot. The winners for the boys were Josh Frei (14), David Johnson
(13), Beau Schlader (12), Austin Chmelik (11), and Matthew Schwartz (10).
The winners for the girls were Jennifer Wemhoff (14), Tara Stubbers (13),
Savanah Prigge (12), Savannah Kuther (11), and Nicole Wemhof (10).
These scores were compared to the scores of the students at Prairie Middle
school to see which students would go on to state. Summit had four
winners represent the Patriots, Josh Frei, Beau Schlader, Savannah Kuther,
and Nicole Wemhoff continued on and shot this past Saturday for state.
