Behler named to All-WPL team
Brittny Behler has been named to the first team All-White Pine League basketball team.
Natalie Arnzen was named to the second team while Bridget Enneking and Ashley Jackson earned honorable mention honors.
On the boys team Mat Forsmann was named to the second team and Corey Schaeffer earned honorable mention.

Lady Pirates lose opener
The Prairie softball team finally got a game in as they lost to the Lewiston JV 3-7 at Lewiston Thursday, March 16.
The game was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth inning when Lewiston put up 4 runs. They added 3 more in the fifth to extend their lead.
Prairie scored their first runs of the season in the sixth when they scored 3 times.
Prairie actually outhit the Bengals 10-7 but couldn’t get the runners around the bases. Meghan VanderPas had a single and a double while Ashley Schaeffer had 2 singles. Collecting 1 single each were Lindsey Crea, Brooke Holthaus, Ali Holthaus, Kim Schaeffer, Natalie Arnzen and Tiffany Schaeffer.
VanderPas pitched the entire game for Prairie.

Lady Pirates lose despite no-hitter
Despite a no-hitter by Meghan VanderPas the Prairie softball team lost 2-3 at Orofino Monday, March 20.
The game was scheduled as a makeup for the games lost to wet field conditions the weekend of March 10-11.
Coach Travis Mader said walks, errors and passed balls led to the Orofino runs.
Orofino scored 1 run in the first and 2 in the third inning. Prairie pushed single runs across in the fourth and sixth innings.
Prairie managed just 3 hits in the game but two of those were doubles, one each by VanderPas and Kylie Uhlorn. Tiffany Schaeffer had the other hit.
With the loss Prairie drops to 0-2 on the season.
