Wins State Fish Art Contest
Wildlife Forever is proud to announce the winners of the 2006 State-Fish
Art Contest. Haley Angus was the top winner in Idaho’s grades 4-6 division.
Winning entries from each state were selected by a prestigious panel of
judges in three grade categories, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. “Recognizing the
State-Fish Art Contest winners on Earth Day provides a unique opportunity
to celebrate America’s youth, aquatic resources and our rich fishing traditions,”
said Douglas H. Grann, President & CEO of Wildlife Forever. “We are
pleased to honor the talented young artists, educators and parents who
make this a memorable day year after year.”
In addition to having her artwork displayed at www.statefishart.com, Haley will have the opportunity to join talented young artists from across the country at the State-Fish Art Expo July 29-30 at Mall of America’s Central Rotunda. All winning artwork will be on display and an Awards Ceremony will recognize the winners before a large Mall crowd. Each winning artist who attends the Expo will receive a Blue ribbon, Rapala rod and reel, a gift certificate for art supplies from Cheap Joe’s Art. Haley Angus is the daughter of Sonessa Lundmark and Mike Angus. She is a 6th grade student at Prairie Middle School in Cottonwood. |
