drive set for July 12
It is time again for probably the most important blood drive of the year. Summer is a time of fun, vacation, no school and trips. It is also a time when accidents happen and the need for blood increases. Every two seconds in the United States someone is receiving a unit of life saving blood. The Blood Mobile will be in Cottonwood July 12 from 12 to 6PM in the Community Hall. Last July we had 100 donors walk in to give and we desparately need that many this time. If each of you donors will take it upon himself or herself to personally ask a friend to come and donate, too. we will make our goal. We do appreciate it when you call and confirm the appointment you made in April Some have already done this and we thank you for this. We certainly hope all the first timers will be back again!!! Encourage each other to call for an appointment. Call a friend or relative and tell them how much fun it is and how good it makes you feel. It is so easy to do. Call Sally Terhaar 962-3192 or Irma Tacke 962-3964 for an appointment. And then do all in your power to keep that appointment. You never know just who may be in need of your gift. Be sure you bring a picture ID or your blood card and eat and drink a good lunch. |
