Softball tournaments set for this weekend
The annual Buggy Whip Softball Tournaments are set for this weekend.
Participation is down this year as there are just 12 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams competing.
The men will again be at the fairgrounds field while the women will be at the Wimer Little League fields.
Men will start play at 9 a.m. on Saturday with the women scheduled to start at 10.
Action will start again in both tournaments at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

School's in Session!!!
Students in grades Kindergarten - 6th wandered back into the classrooms on Monday for a two week session of summer school.  
Mrs. Kim Schumacher is teaching Kindergarten - 3rd and Mrs Andrea Brannon is working with 4th - 6th grade students.  "Summer school is just like "regular" school, but a lot more fun and more snacks", according to Aurelia Bruno!!!
