parents meeting is Monday
There will be a parents meeting for the 2006 Prairie High School volleyball team next Monday, August 7 at 6:30 p.m. at the PHS gym. All players and parents are urged to attend. Prairie’s new head volleyball coach this year is Jeff Martin. Midsummer Night Relay is Friday The Third Annual Midsummer Night Mile Relay is set for Friday, August 4, starting at 9 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital. This 4-person team relay features a 6-mile race and a 12-mile race. In the 6 mile race, each team member will run/walk 2 miles (2 team members together on the last 2 miles). In the 12-mile race, each team member will run/walk 3 miles. The race will start at 9 p.m. and the course is a 1 mile loop through Cottonwood. Registration will begin at 8:15 p.m. in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Hospital. Cost will be $12 and will include a t-shirt. All runners and walkers are welcome to participate in this fun event. St. Mary’s Hospital is the sponsor for the event. |
