Lincoln Day luncheon set
The Idaho and Lewis County Republican committees have set March 10th at noon as the time for their annual Lincoln day luncheon.  This year’s event will be held at Hoot’s Café on US Highway 95 just south of Whitebird.  Elected officials expected to attend include U.S. Senators Larry Craig and Mike Crapo, U.S. Representative Bill Sali, Idaho Governor Butch Otter, Idaho State Controller Donna Jones, as well as several of the elected officials from the state legislature and county governments.  This meeting gives area residents an opportunity to visit with these representatives on issues of local importance and also gives the representatives a chance to outline topics that they see as affecting our area. Tickets for the event are $12.00 for adults and $5.00 for ages 12-18 and can be obtained from members of either county’s central committee. Tickets at the door are $15.  The event also will feature door prizes and an auction.  All Republicans, as well other interested individuals, are invited to attend.
