Sonnen, Benton, Riener win at Kamiah
J.D. Riener won both the shot put and discus while Tabitha Sonnen won the 100 hurdles and Sienna Benton won the 800 at the Clearwater River Invitational Track Meet at Kamiah Saturday, April 7.
Riener had a personal best in the shot put at 51’5 ½” and won the discus with a mark of 146’10”.
Sonnen won the hurdles in 16.7 and was third in the triple jump at 31’3¾”. 
Benton won the 800 in 2:36.8 and was third in the 1600 at 6:05.9.
Nicole Nida had 3 second place finishes. She was second in the 100 in 12.9, second in the 200 in 26.6 and second in the 400. She also competed in the high jump and tied for best height with 3 other competitors at 4’10” but wound up in fourth place due to more misses.
Also placing in the top 3 for the girls team was Kaylee Uhlenkott who took second in the shot put at 32’7½”.
The girls’ best relay finish was in the medley where the team of Tiffany Schaeffer, Uhlenkott, Amber Holthaus and Katie Nuxoll took fourth in 2:08.27.
