Annual Free Fishing Day Event
The Clearwater Ranger District in partnership with the Cottonwood Bureau of Land Management, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, area merchants and Grangeville Lions Club will be presenting their 19th Annual Free Fishing Day event. The event will be held Saturday, June 9 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and will be at Wilkins’ Pond (located off Highway 95 approximately 5.5 miles south of Grangeville). The event is free to all kids up through age 12. An adult must accompany participants. Area merchants have generously donated to this event in the past. There will be lots of fun, games, and prizes. Last year over eighty participants enjoyed a sunny day with good fishing and good times. Please bring your own tackle. The Lions Club members have donated prizes and will be cooking up free hot dogs for all, so bring your pole and join us for a good time.
