Mystery Night is Sept. 22
Have you gotten jungle fever yet? If not, it is not too late! Summit Academy's tenth annual mystery night is just around the comer and this year's theme is "A Walk on the Wild Side."
This jungle adventure will take place on Saturday, September 22, 2007 at Greencreek Community Hall. Tickets for this wild safari are still available. There are only 350 tickets to be sold for one hundred twenty five dollars each, and can be purchased by contacting Matt and Linda Beckman, (208) 962-7157 or Norm and Julie Sonnen (208) 962-2368.
Each ticket admits you and a guest, as well as giving you the opportunity to be a part of the big "mystery" drawing. This year's grand prize is worth ten thousand dollars, which may be redeemed at various businesses around the area, such as: Hoene Hardware, Tackett's Saw Service, Gem Builders, Bettie's Floor and Decor, Map Travel Company, Krueger's RV, or Lindsley's Home Furnishings. Although you may not be the grand prizewinner, the jungle may still hold some excitement for you as one in every ten names drawn wins a lesser prize, possibly a tent and sleeping bag (jungle survival gear), an out door lounge chair, bookcase, water fountain, or a kitchen appliance package. If you still are not a winner, do no fear! There are still some enticing options for you to optimize your jungle experience. There are many captivating live auction items, including ½ hog, ½ beef, pheasant hunt for two, riverboat excursion, and trail ride that includes lodging. (Thank you prize committee for recognizing our local jungle dreams!) However, if you do not win in the live auction, you can always cast your net over the silent auction, and swipe one of the impressive items up for bid; for instance a scrap booking package, loads of gravel, custom room painting, barbecue grill, a children's bicycle, or a personalized calendar.
If you are unable to attend, you may still purchase a ticket and send one of your favorite people to be your proxy. One thing is certain; whoever attends will have a fun filled evening out enjoying the live auction, silent auction, big drawing and great company. Social hour will begin at six followed by the drawing, beginning at 7:30. This event is a wonderful opportunity to support our youth here on the prairie. Help make this jungle party a success and purchase your Mystery Night tickets now, so you too can have jungle fever!
