Meet your school administrators

Todd Shumway was born in SW Colorado, moving to Greybull, WY at an early age, graduating from high The Prairie school principals were recent guests at a Booster Club meeting. Todd was active in football, basketball, track, student government, school plays and debate. Todd attended Rick's College for 2 years on a track scholarship and then the University of WY for 3 years with bachelors of Ed. In Social Studies. Todd's first teaching job was in St. Anthony, ID, moving to Preston, ID after two years. While Todd was at St. Anthony's, he coached several sports, taught, and was an advisor. Todd achieved his Master of Ed Admin. in the spring of 2006. Todd and his wife Audra have 5 children, Kyler (15), Ashley (13), Hailey (11), Jessica (7), and Kade (4). Hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, writing, reading, movies, guitar and being with family and friends.
Rene' Forsmann, we may all know, was born in Cottonwood, ID. Rene' graduated from the Univ. of Idaho with a BA of Science, Business Ed, and minor in Consumer Economic in 1982, Masters in Business Ed, 1983, and Administrator Endorsement
Principal/Professional Tech Administrator in 1992. Rene' taught computer Excel Classes at night at North Idaho College for one year, while the "day job" was Business Ed teacher at Worley School, and coached Softball from 1985-1987. Rene' also taught at Canfield Middle School in Coeur d'Alene, for 2 years, then taking the Principal job at Nezperce, ID for 2 years, and finally landing with Cottonwood School District Elementary Principal for 8 years, then to the PMS from 2004 to the present. Rene' and husband Joe have 2 children, Daniel (22), 5th year Pharmacy major, and Sarah (19) 2 year student majoring in Psychology. Hobbies are playing volleyball, camping and mowing lawns.
Gary Blaz was born in Anaconda, MT graduating from high school in 1973. Gary achieved his BA from Western Montana College in 1978, with a double degree of Elem. Ed & Broad Field Social Sciences. Gary's teaching career began in Anaconda for 2 years, and then moved on to Phillipsburg to teach, during this time he achieved his administrative degree. Gary and his wife Willene (Twinkie) lived in Eureka, MT before moving to Cottonwood. During the time at Eureka, Gary officiated basketball and football for 18 years, coached many high school level sports, and worked on many school functional departments. Gary and Twinkie have 3 children Tyson (29), lives in Helena, MT, Teagen (25), lives in Libby MT, and Taryn (22), just graduated with a teaching degree, and will student teach this fall. Gary & Twinkie also have 2 grandchildren. Hobbies are grandchildren, golfing, hiking, old cars, books, camping and following various professional sports.
