is National HOSA Week
November 4-10, 2007 is designated as National HOSA week. During National HOSA week Health Science students educate their communities on HOSA. HOSA is a student organization whose mission is to promote career opportunities in health care and to enhance the delivery of quality health care to all people.
HOSA week activities are designed to provide school or community service; promote opportunities in health care, and show appreciation to the health care community. Activities are planned and implemented that support the mission of HOSA throughout the school and local community.
Prairie High School’s HOSA chapter has a tri-fold poster displayed at the hospital and clinic this week with photos of their members and various activities that they are involved in. Officers also attended the City Council meeting and Mayor Dennis Duman signed the National Proclamation stating that Cottonwood officially recognizes November 4-10, 2007 as National HOSA Week.
