starts career at Boeing
Keith Nida, Prairie High School graduate class of 2003 will begin his career with Boeing this month in the Puget Sound region as a participant in Boeings Business Career Foundation Program (BCFP). The aim of the program is to recruit and develop highly skilled leadership candidates.  The
particular program is two-years in length consisting of six business rotations.
During a two-year period, Nida will choose to complete six separate assignments,
in these core areas: Supplier Management, Procurement Cost Analysis, Accounting,
Contracts, Estimating/Pricing, Financial Planning and Program Cost Management,
with one elective rotation in; Human Resources, Industrial Engineering,
Internal Audit, International Business, Strategic Planning, Tax, Treasury,
Business Development, Marketing, Business Planning and Strategy or Industrial
Participation.
BCFP is a highly coveted program within in the company with 10 positions filled each year. The BCFP strives to expose participants to many facets of The Boeing Company. Nida will have the opportunity to work in multiple business units such as Integrated Defense Systems, Boeing Capital Corporation, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Phantom Works, and Shared Services Group. Nida will begin this month with Boeing Integrated Defense Systems at the Kent Space Center located in Kent, WA where he will be working in Procurement Supplier Management on the 737 AEW & C aircraft. Graduating previously in May from the University of Idaho, Nida was a member of the University Track and Field program for two years and a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity. Nida was the Public Relations Chairman for the Interfraternity council, as well as other leadership positions on campus. He completed an Internship with Micron Semiconductors in Boise Idaho the summer of ‘08 as a Supply Demand Analyst in the Sales Operation group and recently volunteered on campus as a Marketing Liaison for a small BioPesticide start up program. Keith is the son of Robert and Linda Nida brother to Jenna and Nicole Nida. Grandson to Ron and Doris Sonnen and Jean Nida. |
