registration is August 14
Prairie High School will have registration for the 2008-2009 school year Thursday, August 14, 2008. Registration will be from 8:00 am until 11:30 am. At this time, minimal last minute changes may be made, fees will be paid and lockers will be assigned. If you are new to the district or did not pre-register in the spring, please come Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 1:00-2:30 pm. If you need to come another time, please call the high school 962-3901 to make arrangements. Fees will be $100. The fees include your yearbook, and your photo id activity card and pays your class dues. Photo ids and school pictures will be taken Thursday, September 4, 2008. The yearbook is the only optional item. Your activity fee is $45, class dues $10, and yearbook $45. Anyone participating in extra curricular activities including dance, cheer, knowledge bowl, other after school groups and all sports need to pay the activity fee. Also any students taking Idaho Distance Learning Academy (IDLA) classes or Dual Credit course, expect to pay fees for those at registration. Lunch cards will also be available. Cost per day is $1.75 or $35/month payable in advance. Advanced payments would very much be appreciated. All balances of 2007-2008 school year have been carried over and will be available at your request. New students to the area will need to have a current immunization record, birth certificate and a copy of your transcript or current report card, if possible. To encourage more communication between the school and parents we are asking for the parents e-mail address also. If you are planning to be in sports, cheer or dance, and are a freshman, a junior or a first time athlete, you will need to have a physical before you start practice. For those students in volleyball or football who had physicals taken at St. Mary’s Clinic in June, you will need to take that form with you to the FIRST practice and give to the coach of your sport. The school does not get the forms from the clinic anymore and you MUST have a current physical on file BEFORE your first practice. We will then keep them on file at the high school. |
