Welcomes New Businesses
The Greater Cottonwood Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new businesses to town; The Corner Cupboard and Mager Bargains. Each business received a year’s free membership to the Chamber. The Corner Cupboard is owned and operated by Becky and Misi Madden; phone number is 962-7243 and hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 to 4:00 and open the 4th Saturday of each month. They have various antiques including antique furniture, clothes, and household items. Donations are accepted and they also buy estate items. Donations can be dropped off at their loading dock. Mager Bargains at 328 Main Street is owned and operated by John and Denise Mager; they can be reached at 983-5664 or 962-7700, hours of operations are 9:30 to 5:30; Monday through Saturday. They sell new, used and consignment; including appliances and household items; they also do dog grooming. In addition to the items they have for sale, they also provide free clothing to those in need; donations of clothing or other items are accepted. If anyone is interested in joining the Chamber please contact President, Cheri Holthaus at 962-2327. Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month in the meeting room at the Duman Mall. Everyone is welcome to join the Chamber; business owners, employees, farmers, ranchers, clergy, school personal or individuals.
