Shumway breaks record again
Kyler Shumway again broke the Prairie school record in the shot put but this time it was only good enough for second place in the event at the Pasco Invitational at Pasco, Wash., Saturday, April 18.
Shumway tossed the shot 59’1½” on his final toss, which gave him the lead in the competition until Andrey Levkiv of Renton, Wash., made his final throw, which was 62’2”.
Shumway’s toss broke his school record of 58’8½” set 11 days earlier.
