The $150,000 school override levy passed by more than a 2 to 1 margin in voting last Tuesday, May 19. There were 289 yes votes, 118 no votes and 7 invalid votes for a 71% yes vote. The levy was approved in all 5 trustee zones. Breakdown by zones is as follows: Greencreek #1-79 yes, 21 no, 79% yes. Cottonwood #2-69 yes, 22 no, 76% yes. Cottonwood #3-38 yes, 5 no, 88% yes. Keuterville #4-54 yes, 29 no, 65% yes. Ferdinand #5-49 yes 41 no, 54% yes. |
