Gable named scholar-athlete of the month at CCS
The Community Colleges of Spokane’s Male Scholar-Athlete of the Month for April is Kyler Gable.  Kyler GableKyler, from Coeur d’Alene High School, is in his freshman season on the CCS men’s golf team.  Kyler has established himself as a team leader and has accomplished some great things in his short time with the Sasquatch.  He was medalist at the Bigfoot/Cardinal Classic against North Idaho College, placed second in the Grays Harbor College Invitational, the Walla Walla Invitational, the Bigfoot Invitational and most recently in the Green River Invitational.  His many tournament rounds at par or under have him among the top of the NWAACC and was recently named first team all-conference.  His great individual rounds have led the team to seven tournament victories and helped Spokane capture the regular season NWAACC championship.  Spokane competed at the NWAACC Championship Tournament on May 17-18 in Walla Walla and tied for first place.  Kyler’s dedication and work ethic carry over into the classroom and he plans to transfer to a four-year school to play golf and pursue his degree.
Gable is the son of Rob and Donna (Sonnen) Gable.
