offers hospice training
Syringa Hospital Hospice is conducting a 2 day training program for mature and caring individuals who desire to volunteer with the ONLY hospice in the area. Hospice seeks to enhance the dying person’s quality of life and to provide support for family and other caregivers. The Syringa Hospice team focuses on the hope that every day will be the best that it can be for the patient and their families. Volunteers are the heart of hospice and help make this hope a reality. The training program is Tuesday, August 4th from 9:00 – 4:00 and Wednesday, August 5th from 10:00 – 5:00 at the Soltman Center in Grangeville. Lunch will be provided both days.
