Two compete at HOSA nationals
Danielle Cochran and Kayla Johnson recently represented the Prairie High School Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) at the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.  They qualified to attend by placing 3rd at the State Competition in Boise last Spring in their event of First Aid/CPR.  Also qualifying but unable to attend were the HOSA Bowl Team, Medical Terminology and Medical Reading Team.  While at the conference Cochran and Johnson competed in their event against 74 other teams from around the nation.  They also had the opportunity to attend Educational Symposiums on Public Speaking, Study Skills, Memory Techniques and  Music Therapy.  The Conference was held at the Opryland Hotel.  While the Prairie team did not place, Idaho did have two teams/individuals earn 2nd place and one team earn 3rd in other events.
