PT to sponsor fun run, walk and roll
You may think participating in a 5K Fun Run, Walk and Roll takes some energy, but try gathering all the prizes and donations.  That’s
the real workout! But, according to the Kamiah Physical Therapy staff
all the effort is worth it when it comes to generating positive energy
and encouraging people to exercise for their health.
The year’s 3.2 mile Fun Run, Walk and Roll event will be held on Saturday, September 5th during BBQ Days. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and with an 8:00 a.m. start from the PT clinic on Fourth and Hill Street. Registration forms are also available prior to race day from the PT office and 3D Video. The $13 registration fee includes a t-shirt. Donors for the race include B&B Residential Care & Ranch, Perfection Tire, Jacobs Lumber, Pizza Factory, Kamiah True Value, Rustic Elegance, Roxanne's Card & Gift Shop, Simmon's Sanitation, Alternative Nursing Services, Looking Glass Optical, KCCU, Jagow Construction, Clearwater Coffee and St. Mary's Hospital & Clinics According to Christina Richardson, Kamiah PT race coordinator, all registered participants will be entered into a drawing for numerous gift baskets, gift certificates and prizes generously donated by local merchants including a Gift Certificate - Kamiah True Value; Gift Basket or Certificate - Rustic Elegance; Gift Basket or Certificate - Roxanne's Card & Gift Shop; Gift Basket- Cloninger's Harvest Foods; 1 month free membership - Valley Fitness Center; 1 free photo session with 1 free 8 x 10 - Hill Photographics; A Night at the Movies basket - 3-D Video; Gift Certificate - Palenque's Mexican Restaurant and a 2010 Family Summer Pass - Kamiah Community Pool.
