Library pays tribute to Nona Hood
The Library has an empty spot but it is not because of a missing book.  How do you replace something irreplaceable?  What do you do when you lose a good friend?  These are questions we on the library board are asking ourselves with the passing of Nona Hood.  She was one of the most dependable persons we have ever known.  Her excellent P.R. with people was a big boost to the library.  She always brought out the good in people with whom she had contact.
Nona was a charter member and filled the shoes of Librarian from 1996 to 2006.  She wrote The Library Corner in the Cottonwood Chronicle for many years.  She was a special person and, indeed a good friend of our library.  Even though we are not her immediate family, we still feel her passing has left a void in our lives.
We miss her dearly and feel she is watching over us.
