Summit Academy started District play Wednesday, Oct. 21 at Nezperce where they lost in 3 games to #1 seeded Nezperce. The Tournament will continue at 2:00 Saturday, Oct. 24 with Nezperce facing Culdesac at 2 p.m. in a winner's bracket match while Summit will play Highland in a loser-out match at approximately 3:30 p.m. At 5 p.m. the 2 p.m. loser will play the 3:30 p.m. winner with the winner of that match to face the 2 p.m. winner at 6:30 p.m. in the championship match. If the 1-loss team defeats the unbeaten team there will be a second championship match at 8 p.m. The tournament winner is the only team to advance to state. |
