Remember to recycle
Thanks to Idaho County for it's enthusiastic support and encouragement, recycling begins this weekend.  Saturday, October 31, at the Columbia Grain Elevator in Fenn and Sunday, November 1, in Kooskia (NEW SITE) 4th Avenue at the south end of the City Park.  The hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at both sites.
Now it is up to you!  To develop and maintain the program--we need volume.  Here are some things you can do to help.   Remind your friends and neighbors, offer to pick up recycling for those who are unable to take theirs, encourage businesses, form a recycling pool.
Volunteers will be available at the sites to help you distribute the materials, but remember to separate into categories: paper products, tin and aluminum, plastics, and cardboard. Go to the Idaho County web site for details(www.idahocounty.org recycle link)
This program will be funded by voluntary fees and pledges.  We need your support to start, develop, and maintain the program.  Our goal is to start small, and with your financial and volunteer help, to increase the convenience of the recycle program.  There will be a survey and suggestion box at the site to gather data for future decisions. Your input and suggestions are appreciated
Thank you for your support.
