Drug-Free group basket fundraiser
Our annual basket fundraiser is in full motion! Tickets are $1 and can be purchased at the Credit Union, Arnzen Drug, and Riener’s Grocery. The funds this year will help with events that the group will attend throughout the year including their summer activities. The baskets are on display at the Cottonwood Federal Credit Union. The students will be going door to door selling tickets this Sunday, November 15th starting at 5pm.
The advisors are very excited to have over 50 students from Prairie High School who have made a commitment to be alcohol, drug and tobacco free.  The drug free group has been sponsoring game-activity nights after the home football games. Attendance is averaging 60 students per event.  The students stay until midnight playing video games, basketball, watching movies, playing board games, visiting and eating lots of food! Many students and parents have commented that they look forward to these nights and it gives them an alternative activity for an evening.
The advisors for the group are Colleen Sonnen and Laurie Workman. If you would like to purchase tickets contact the advisors or visit one of local businesses.  Laurie and Colleen would like to thank everyone in the community for supporting our students. We have great kids at PHS!
