Local Students Develop LTCF Study for the Prairie
A group of students from the University of Idaho’s College of Business & Economics is working on a feasibility study for a Long-Term Care Facility on the Prairie.  Among the members of this group are Brandon Rehder and Forrest Johnson from Cottonwood.  Other members of the group include Brianna Robson from Coeur d’Alene and Lawson Shoemaker from McCall.
The students are creating this study as part of an entrepreneurship course, which provides an overview of the entrepreneurship phenomenon and the process of identifying and commercializing an opportunity.  They are working with Prairie Horizons members in the development of this document, which will benefit the Prairie communities and surrounding areas.  This effort is an on-going project of Prairie Horizons, to come up with a strategy for the community to discuss and address long-term care issues on the Prairie.
