Letters to the editor from this week's Chronicle:

Dear Editor
I will be visiting Cottonwood, Sunday, December 20, 2009 and would enjoy the opportunity to visit with all the good boys and girls after the 7th Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. The Chamber of Commerce, the Lions Club, Idaho County 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus group and LCSC DEX students will be sponsoring Santa’s Cabana. There will be free hot cider and cookies, available. Also chili, hot dogs, nachos, chilidogs and chili nachos for purchase to quench your hunger.
Come visit with me, Santa, get your picture taken, enjoy Christmas music, and enjoy the warmth of the fire and / or heaters in Santa’s Cabana as the cabana opens at 4. I will arrive right after the lighted Christmas parade, bringing tokens of appreciation for the good boys and girls. Be early and enjoy the spirit of the season. The parade will start forming up in the parking lot of St. Mary’s Church starting at 4:30 and start downtown at 5. Build a float, light your 4-wheeler, truck or car, and jingle your bells. Walkers are welcome, too.
Looking forward to my visit to Cottonwood.
Merry Christmas to all,
Santa
