Booster Bulletin
The Prairie Booster Club held its first Milk Bowl party Saturday November 21st  in the cafeteria at Prairie High School.  The game was projected onto the wall via the internet. The crowd enjoyed watching and sometimes just listening to a great game.   Our boys played hard and well. Thank you for an awesome season.  We couldn't have hosted the party without the help of James Hager for getting us set up and DJ Walker and Garrett Workmen for helping him in keeping us going.  Pat Alfrey kept the crowd involved with power plays and football bingo and Mikki Holthaus for helping with the food.  Thank you to Hometown Auto and Ag, A1 Flowers and More, Susan Guyer, Pat Alfrey,  Vern and Maryanne Riener, Carolyn Frost, Cottonwood Butte Ski Area and Gordon Harman for donating items for the power plays, bingo and the raffle.  All proceeds went to Prairie High School to assist in traveling expenses for the football team, band and cheerleaders.
Christmas is just around the corner and the Boosters have stadium blankets, insulated mugs and Whitepine League Football champions decals for that special Pirate fan.  Also, we are getting ready to submit our list of members for the District Basketball Programs, so if you would like your name or a special someone's name on that list, please join by December 31st.
Congratulations to Prairie High School for being named in the current issue of the  U.S. News and World Report list of America's best high schools.  According to the article, Prairie was awarded a bronze medal. More than 21,000 public high schools in 48 states were analyzed using a range of performance indicators.  More information  is available online at www.usnews.com. We have a lot to be proud of so please take a moment and thank those who work in our district.   Happy Holidays!
