court of honor held
On March 17 a Court of Honor was held in recognition of Danny and Amy Bradley’s son Christopher Bradley and for Emmett and Cindy Wilson’s son Dakota Wilson. 
Color Guard Drew Cochran, Seth Chaffee, Mike Karel and Tyler Hankerson presented the flags to start our ceremony. Scoutmaster Shari Chaffee proceeded with the 1st class ceremony for Chris Bradley. He accepted the pledge of being responsible and to carry out his duty as a Boy Scout in spirit and service. During Dakota Wilson’s Star Scout ceremony, he pledged to be of service and leadership to younger Scouts as a personal obligation. Assistant Scout Master Dan Karel pinned Chris and Dakota with their badges. Following were their parents who were escorted up to receive their parent pins. In conclusion a closing candle lit ceremony was done by Greg Nau. We are very proud of these young men and are looking forward to seeing them grow in the Scouting program. |
