Shumway, Schaeffer, girls 4x200 win at Kamiah  Meet
Kyler Shumway continued his dominance in the shot put, NaTosha Schaeffer won the 300 hurdles and the girls 4x200 relay team also picked up a first place finish at a 12-team track meet at Kamiah Tuesday, April 13.NaTosha Schaeffer clears one of the final hurdles in the 300 hurdles race.
Shumway won the shot put with a mark of 56’7” and was second in the 100 meter dash in 11.7.
NaTosha Schaeffer won the 300 hurdles with a time of 50.5 and was also third in the 100 hurdles in 17.8.
The girls 4x200 relay team of Kristin Hill, Justina Zigler, NaTosha Schaeffer and MaKayla Schaeffer won with a time of 1:56.8.
Brock Heath placed in 3 events as he was 2nd in the 800 in 2:11.1; third in the 1600 in 5:02 and 2nd in the 3200 in 10:30.18.
Ryan Dalgliesh was 31st in the 100 meter dash in 13.6; 9th in the 200 in 25.5, 6th in the 300 hurdles in 49.0 and 7th in the high jump at 5’2”.
Robin Krol placed 21st in the 200 in 27.1 and 12th in the 400 in 59.9.
Kaden Perrin placed 5th in the 3200 in 11:20.33 and also ran in the 1600 but no times were available beyond the first 11 placers.
Tucker Stefan, Kyle Uhlenkott and Josh Zigler all competed in the shot put but no marks were available beyond 8th place.
Those 3 and Shumway also competed in the discus but no marks were available beyond 9th place.
For the girls team MaKayla Schaeffer took 2nd in the long jump at 14’10½”.
Rachel Falzon was 15th in the 100 in 15.6 and 25th in the 200 in 33.2. She also competed in the long jump but no mark was recorded.
Tyler Workman was 13th in the 200 in 31.8 and also ran in the 800 and competed in the long jump but no marks were available.
Betty Clark was 6th in the 3200 in 16:50.01 and also competed in the 800 and 1600 but no times were available.
Demetria Riener took 2nd in the shot put at 27’7” and was 11th in the discus at 72’2”.
Mary Shears was 4th in the shot put at 26’9” and 6th in the discus at 87’9”.
Ashley Shumway was 6th in the shot put at 25’6”, 8th in the discus at 78’8”, and also competed in the long jump and triple jump but no marks or placings were available for those events.
Amanda Stinson was 7th in the shot put at 25’5” and 21st in the discus at 59’6”.
Gina Seubert was 18th in the discus at 63’5” and competed in the shot put.
Stephanie Gimmeson was 25th in the discus at 56’7” and also competed in the shot put.
Shelby VonBargen and Justina Zigler also competed in the long jump but no marks were available.
The 4x100 relay team of Hill, Zigler, Schaeffer and Schaeffer was third in 57.3.
The 4x400 relay team of Hill, Zigler, Shears and Shelby VonBargen was 4th in 4:47.79.
The medley relay team of Falzon, Workman, Hill and VonBargen was 6th in 2:13.2.
The boys and girls teams each placed 4th at the meet with 73 points for the girls and 49 for the boys.

Heath wins 3200 at Moscow
With the cancellation of the Lapwai Invitational, the Prairie track teams took part in the Moscow Twilight Invitational last Friday, April 16 where Brock Heath placed in 3 events and won the 3200.
Ryan Dalgliesh in the boys 300 hurdles at Kamiah.Heath won the 3200 in 10:37.20, was second in the 1600 in 4:46.96 and was third in the 800 in 2:10.11.
Also placing well was NaTosha Schaeffer in the hurdles events as she was third in both the 100 and 300 hurdles. Her 100 time was 17.16 and her 300 time was 49.65.
The girls 4x100 relay also did well as the team of Kristin Hill, Justina Zigler, Shelby VonBargen and NaTosha Schaeffer too second in 54.22. The same group also placed third in the 4x200 relay in 1:54.56.
The girls medley team of Rachel Falzon, Tyler Workman, Hill and VonBargen took fifth in 2:05.32.
Other individual finishers for the boys:
Ryan Dalgliesh: 9th in the high jump at 5’6”; 15th in the 100 at 12.20.
Robin Krol: 28th in 100 at 12.69; 14th in the 200 in 26.57; 10th in the 400 in 57.84.
Josh Zigler: 20th in the shot put at 33’7½”; 8th in the discus at 105’4”.
Kyle Uhlenkott: 29th in the shot put at 28’7”; 32nd in the discus at 65’6”.
Other individual finishers for the girls:
Rachel Falzon: 23rd in the 100 in 15.36; 21st in the long jump at 12’3”.
Justina Zigler: 16th in the 200 in 30.95; 15th in the long jump at 13’0”.
Tyler Workman: 18th in the 200 in 31.65; 8th in the 400 in 1:12.38; 16th in the long jump at 12’11”.
Mary Shears: 9th in the 400 in 1:12.58; 14th in the shot put at 25’6½”; 10th in the discus at 85’4”.
Betty Clark: 17th in the 800 in 3:15.65; 15th in the 400 in 1:21.39; 17th in the 1600 in 7:01.10.
Demetria Riener: 9th in the shot put at 29’5”; 16th in the discus at 70’7”.
Amanda Stinson: 11th in the shot put at 26’7 ½”; 26th in the discus at 56’5”.
Gina Seubert: 12th in the shot put at 26’6”; 28th in the discus at 43’6”.
Stephanie Gimmeson: 23rd in the shot put at 23’1½”; 25th in the discus at 57’10”.
Shelby VonBargen: 19th in the long jump at 12’8”.
Kristin Hill: 9th in the triple jump at 29’5”.
In the team scores the boys were 9th out of 14 teams with 25 points and the girls were 8th with 31 points.
Kyler Shumway and MaKayla Schaeffer didn’t compete at the Moscow meet.
