Rockwell is Prairie ROCKS! guest
Last week the Prairie ROCKS class was visited by James Rockwell of Grangeville.  He told about his life as a young man when he was right hand man to the Governor of  Alaska.  After this job, James traveled to Vietnam to try to make a difference in restoring relations between the U.S. and Vietnam.  During his 6 years there, he was able to start up the first American business and help other American’s to do business in Vietnam. He expressed a great appreciation for our great country and encouraged the students to appreciate it as well.
James’ stories provide a great example of recognizing a problem and using creativity and ingenuity to do something to help solve the problem. We discussed using the gifts of the holy Spirit in everyday life.  The virtue that immediately comes to mind is integrity.
This week our speaker is Jack Duman.  He will be talking about the journey of life.  All are welcome to attend our class on Thursday, April 29 at 8:20 or 9:20 at the High School PEACE building.
