Center For Discovery children are active
Last week the kids at the Center For Discovery enjoyed the warm weather and spent Wednesday at the pool and Thursday afternoon in a waterfight.
Lisa Carr with the University of Idaho extension office came in and talked with the kids about making sure we wash our hands really good by singing the ABC song while we wash.  Then she taught us how to make a delicious snack with graham crackers, strawberries, bananas, yogurt, and peanuts making sure we use most of our food pyramid.  It was delicious.
We also made some Fourth of July T-Shirts that really turned out great and got to make rockets.
The next two weeks we will be taking over 60 kids to the Grangeville pool for swimming lessons.  There has been a change we would like all the kids to be at the Center by 8:50 so the bus can leave before 9:00 due to road construction.
