Greencreek Celebration is Saturday
With the 4th of July on a Sunday this year, the Greencreek 4th of July Celebration has been moved to Saturday, July 3 at the Greencreek Community Hall.
Grand Marshal this year is Elmer Wessels.
Events start with the Flag Raising at 6 a.m.
The famous St. Anthony’s Society breakfast will run from 7 to 10 a.m. with cost being $7 for those 12 and older; $3 for 6-11 year olds and under 6 eat free.
At 12 noon will be the Street Sports and at 1:00 p.m. the auction and prize drawing will start.
There is bingo all day inside the hall while on the outside there are kiddie rides and games, concessions and a beergarden.
The Altar Society will fire up the grill at noon for hamburgers and will also be selling homemade pies.
