Ducky
Derby tickets available
This week in the local grocery stores you will see chances to buy Ducky
Derby tickets. We are giving you the chance to adopt a duck
and support the youth in our area. You can purchase one duck
for $5.00 or 6 ducks for $25.00 on the ticket please mark that you want
to support the youth in Cottonwood. You have a chance to win $300.00
in cash plus may more amazing prizes. This event is sponsored by
the Kooskia Chamber of Commerce. The drawing will take place on Saturday,
July 31st in Kooskia you do not need to be present to win. The Ducky
Derby Race begins at 1:00 pm along with a kids carnival from 11:00 to 1:00.
If you would like to purchase one of these tickets you may call Erin Shears
at 962-5541 or look for the Ducky Derby signs around town. All money
marked for Cottonwood will benefit Cottonwood children.
