sized hail hits area
Hailstorms hit the area Saturday evening in a swatch from Keuterville to Kamiah going over the Cottonwood, Greencreek and Winona areas with stones reported in some places as big as the size of a quarter. Gordon Harman at Harman Agency reported there’s some heavy damage out there but that it’s too early to put any kind of estimate on just how much there was. He said there would be claims adjusters in the area this week. He reported the Kamiah area really got hit hard with trees down due to the high winds that accompanied the hail, among other damage. He did say that in driving around the area and checking things out that there are some very good looking crops out there thanks to the extra rains we had this Spring. Harman also reported they have finished up on the claims from the hail that recently hit the Fenn area and that damage was mostly light from that storm. |
